Parkinson’s Does Not Define Me. My Story Is Still Being Written.

I never imagined Parkinson’s disease would become part of my story. But I also never imagined losing more than 100 pounds, running my first marathon at 56, or becoming a triathlete in my late 50's.

Diagnosed with Parkinson’s at 58, I made a decision: I wouldn't let this disease define who I am or what I'm capable of accomplishing.

My journey hasn't been easy. There have been setbacks, difficult days, and moments of uncertainty.

My experience at IRONMAN 70.3 Augusta taught me that sometimes a DNF doesn't mean Did Not Finish. It means Did Not Fail.

As a speaker, I share more than a story about Parkinson’s and endurance sports. I share a message about resilience, determination, overcoming obstacles, and finding purpose when life takes an unexpected turn.

Whether speaking to corporate teams, community organizations, or healthcare audiences, my goal is simple: inspire people to keep moving forward, regardless of the challenges they face.

My story is about Parkinson’s.

My message is about life.
